6000BPH Chicken Slaughterhouse – Upgraded Poultry Processing Line by Meridian Technology
Meridian Technology Co., Ltd successfully completed the upgrade of a 6000 birds per hour (BPH) chicken slaughterhouse, transforming it into a modern, high-efficiency poultry processing plant. This project involved full system modernization, including equipment replacement, process automation, and plant layout optimization.
Main Slaughtering Process
Live Bird Handling – With automatic crate unloading and conveyor system.
Stunning – Humane slaughter using an electrical stunning machine.
Killing & Bleeding – Accurate cuts with automatic killing machines.
Scalding – Adjustable scalding tank for effective feather loosening.
Defeathering – Fast feather removal via chicken plucker machines.
Evisceration – Internal organ removal using vent cutter, eviscerator, and neck cutter.
Inspection & Chilling – Quality check and rapid cooling in pre-chilling tanks or air chillers.
Cutting & Packing – Portioning by cutting machines, followed by vacuum or shrink packaging.
By-product Processing – Optional equipment for feet, giblets, and offal.
